Brazilian native bee

A lot of controversy and mystery surrounds the
Brazilian native bee, how this miscegenation with African Killerbees happened (naturally or by man), originating an aggressive bee (but not killer) with a reasonable level of honey production, and well adapted to tropical areas. Their aggression makes them more difficult to raise, but allows beekeepers to avoid
chemical treatment control different diseases, in particular
varroa mites, which heavily affects North American and European hives.
Brazilian native bee identify and naturally kill any intruder in the hive.
